My name is Xzavier Oberholzer, I’m 17 years old and live in The Hague, Netherlands. I am an aspiring wildlife photographer. i’m also an ICARUS-ambassador and a Young-scientist at the Max-Planck-institute (maxcine) for Animal behaviour. I’ve been interested in animals’ since I can remember and currently have 8 species of animals as pets.
I have been participating in the Max-Planck institute’s MaxCine program, for already five years as a Young-scientist to learn about animals and to give the Max-Planck scientists new ideas and a young persons perspective.
I have also been able to attend two research trips to the South of France where we researched Blackbirds.
I am now planning my own expedition where I would like to do both research as well as develop my skills as a Wildlife photographer. I want to be able to view and record the animals in ways which are interesting for my age group and so that I can also interest others in nature.
